The privacy policy below applies to all site visits and agreements with Tip ICT, registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce (KvK) under number 34295507.

We respect the privacy of our customers and website visitors. That's why we make sure that the personal information you provide us with is treated confidentially and stored only in a secure environment. Below, you can read exactly how we do this, which personal data we may collect and retain from you, and for what purposes.

The use of personal data

When you use our website, we obtain certain data from you. This may be personal data such as information you provide us with, but also data about your website visit itself. We only store and use personal data that you provide directly to us, in connection with a service you have requested (for example, via the contact form), or that is clearly provided to us for processing. We will not use your personal data for other purposes unless you have given your prior consent, or we are permitted or required to do so by law or under the agreement.

For good, efficient and economically responsible service delivery, it is sometimes necessary for our company to process and store your personal data. This is done in the following cases:

Description of the personal data

For the purposes mentioned above, we will process the following personal data about you:

  • name and address details;
  • company details;
  • job title;
  • VAT number;
  • email address;
  • (mobile) phone number;
  • IP address;
  • technical browser information.

Retention periods

We do not retain your personal data for longer than necessary to achieve the purposes set out in this privacy and cookie statement. Personal data is removed from our systems after 1 year at the latest.

Confidentiality & disclosure to third parties

We treat your personal data confidentially and do not disclose it to third parties. We may do so if you have given prior consent, if it is necessary for the performance of our agreement, or if we are permitted or required to do so by law or under the agreement. If we disclose personal data to third parties in connection with the performance of the agreement, we will agree a data processing agreement with you for this purpose.

Data security

We use secure systems and procedures to protect the processed data, among other things to prevent unauthorised persons from gaining unintended access to this data. We ensure that only the necessary people have access to your data and that access to your personal data is protected. We use a TLS connection for this, among other measures.

Cookies

This website does not use tracking, advertising or social media cookies. Only technically necessary provisions are used to make the website function properly and securely:

  • Google Analytics (cookieless): for visitor statistics we use Google Analytics in a cookieless, privacy-friendly mode (consent mode with all storage denied). No cookies are placed; measurements are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you.
  • Cloudflare Turnstile: our forms are protected against abuse and spam with Cloudflare Turnstile. For this purpose Turnstile places a strictly necessary, anonymous cookie that is used solely to verify that you are not a robot. This cookie does not track you and contains no personal data.
  • Language and display preference: if you switch languages, we remember your choice in a functional cookie ('taal'). Your light/dark preference is stored locally in your browser (localStorage) and never leaves your device.

None of these provisions legally require consent, which is why no cookie notice is shown.

This privacy and cookie statement does not apply to third-party websites linked to our website. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner.

Your legal rights

If you have any questions or would like to know what personal data we hold about you, you can always contact us. Please note that you must prove your identity with your request. We can only process requests where we are certain that we are not amending or deleting the data of the wrong person.

We reserve the right to amend this privacy and cookie statement without prior notice. Any changes will be published on our website.

Of course, we are also happy to help if you have any complaints about how we process your personal data. Under data protection legislation, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) regarding our processing of your personal data.
