Approach

How we work: from insight to complete peace of mind

Whatever service you take — a new workplace, an ERP system, an ISO certification or AI policy — every project at Tip ICT goes through the same three phases. Click on a phase for details.

Phase 1 · Listening and looking for ourselves

Assessment & analysis

We start with what you want: what are you trying to achieve, where does it hurt, what needs to change? But we don't stop there. Alongside your request, we always carry out an independent analysis of your environment — because the most important improvements are often not the things you called us for. That way we also uncover risks and opportunities you may not (yet) see yourself.

What we do

  • Introductory or assessment meeting: your goals, processes and frustrations
  • Independent analysis of workplaces, network, data, security and licences
  • Mapping out risks, quick wins and structural improvements
  • Prioritisation: what comes first, what can wait, what isn't needed

Result: a concrete action plan in plain language, with priorities and a cost indication. You can get started with this yourself — or with us.

Phase 2 · Controlled building

Building the desired situation

Based on the action plan, we build the desired situation — step by step and under control, so that work simply continues. No big bang, but a planned transition where every step is tested before the next one begins.

What we do

  • Plan of approach with clear milestones and planning
  • Implementation and migration without data loss, outside office hours where needed
  • Security from day one: security by design, never an afterthought
  • Testing and controlled delivery per component
  • Documentation and instruction or training for staff

Result: a working, secure and documented environment your team can start using right away.

Phase 3 · Ongoing peace of mind

Management, support, maintenance & monitoring

After delivery, the real work begins: making sure everything keeps running, stays secure and grows with your business. Through proactive monitoring we often spot problems before you do — and fix them before work grinds to a halt.

What we do

  • Proactive monitoring and patch management via central management
  • Support that's always reachable — 365 days a year, remotely and on-site
  • Backup monitoring and periodic restore tests
  • Periodic evaluation: reporting, improvements and looking ahead
  • Keeping compliance up to date with new legislation and certification requirements

How you'll notice the difference

  • Faults are prevented rather than repaired
  • One point of contact for every digital question
  • Fixed, predictable monthly costs

Result: you focus on your own business, we keep IT secure, current and available. And the circle stays complete: monitoring and evaluation lead to new improvements — back to phase 1, but without surprises this time.

The principles behind every phase

Proactive rather than reactive

Monitoring, maintenance and risk analyses make sure we stay ahead of problems. The best fault is the one that never happens.

Secure and demonstrable

Security and compliance (GDPR, ISO, NIS2) are woven into every phase — documented and demonstrable, not a separate project afterwards.

One point of contact

From analysis to day-to-day management, you deal with one party who knows your environment and your organisation. Without single points of failure.

Frequently asked questions about our approach

How long does a project take?

This varies a lot per service. A workplace migration for a small business is sorted in days; an ISO 27001 certification or ERP implementation spans months. In phase 1 you always get a realistic timeline — and we track it in phase 2 with milestones.

Can I take just phase 1?

Yes. The assessment meeting and action plan are non-binding: you can get started with the plan yourself or with another party. Most clients stay with us — but that's up to you.

Do you work with fixed contracts?

For management and monitoring (phase 3) we work with clear monthly rates per workplace or service, with no surprises. Project work (phase 2) is quoted in advance based on the action plan. Everything is subject to the NLdigital terms and conditions.

What happens if something does go wrong?

Then we're reachable — 365 days a year. Through monitoring we spot most problems ourselves first, and backups with restore tests make sure there's always a way back. We always evaluate incidents: what do we learn from it, and how do we prevent it happening again?
