Tip ICT is, and deliberately remains, a small-scale IT company. Tip ICT has no employees, but works intensively with other freelancers. That way we save on risk and cost and everyone earns a good income, while Tip ICT charges clients a fair price and acts as a single point of contact. Without single points of failure. We call that healthy entrepreneurship with a clear philosophy.

Patrick van der Weide
In 2014 I completed my master's degree in law, specialising in intellectual property, internet and IT law. IT is my passion. I have a strong sense of responsibility, and I'm honest and straightforward.
In my "free time" I like to spend time with my dog and girlfriend, enjoy DIY projects, and I'm always tinkering further with IT as a hobby.

CISSP certified
In 2022 Patrick earned the title Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from ISC2 — globally the most recognised certification for information security professionals. The certification tests in-depth knowledge across eight security domains, from risk management and security architecture to identity management and secure development, and requires demonstrable practical experience plus annual continuing education. For you as a client, this means the security advice from Tip ICT — from quickscan to (CI)SO as a Service — is grounded in an internationally recognised standard, not gut feeling.
Our service area
For IT management we work from Assendelft in the Zaanstreek and Noord-Holland — from Zaandam and Wormerveer to Amsterdam, Purmerend, Uitgeest, Alkmaar and Hoorn. For consultancy, such as the (CI)SO role and compliance projects, we work throughout the Netherlands.
Running for charity
Giving back is part of who we are. That is why Tip ICT supports one charity every year through running — with our legs as well as our wallet: we run ourselves, cover race entry fees and match donations. In 2026 Patrick runs the Amsterdam Marathon for Samui Street Dogs; in 2027 we run on Texel for KiKa.
